About us

In 2016, we started as a small driving school with one goal in mind: to teach you how to drive really well. Our top-notch instructor knows the ins and outs of driving instruction and has a great track record for helping students pass their tests.

We're based right here in South East London, and we're all about teaching anyone who's 17 or older how to drive. Not only that, but we also train people who want to become driving instructors themselves. We're proud to say that a lot of our students pass their driving tests, thanks to our effective teaching methods. And for those who want to get even better at driving after they pass their test, we offer a special course called Pass Plus.

The overall training process was practical and very helpful. The training was focused on trust on the process and it helped me to be a responsible driver, following instruction related to traffic rules and regulations were the key for the success. I’ve been learning with Bimal since May and learning with him has been fantastic. Throughout the past few months he has gone above and beyond, making sure I learn each manoeuvre well and answering any particular questions I had as a new learner. When I first began learning with him I was quite nervous about driving but because of Bimal I have become a confident yet cautious driver and as a result was able to pass my test first time around!

Passed at Sidcup and found it very easy with lax, with only 4 lessons there, even though everyone told me sidcup is a hard centre laxman made it easy for me with the quality lessons and spotting any little mistake I make, best instructor I’ve had.

Lax driving school does what is says. I had wonderful learning with instructor Bimal. He was very patient / calm and was very helpful even when I made mistakes. He was very professional at managing my stress while going for driving test. I am pretty sure if it wasn't for Bimal I would have struggled to pass the test and would have even given up learning. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I will definitely recommend Lax driving school to my friends.
